Poppa's House

Doesn't that look wonderful? And it is wonderful as long as you don't want to GO anywhere...

I'm heading back to Kentucky and sucky hometown for a few days to do some of Poppa's estate business. Never again will I willingly be an executor of an estate...it is a tremendous amount of work and red tape!

Actually, the term for a woman is "executrix". . . "tricks"? What the hell? I sound like a ho. . .
Some dumbass male had to come up with that one. . . why couldn't I be an "executress"?

Anyway, I'm leaving this afternoon and will return later this week?

Get your shit together, me Bratty friend, and carry on!!!

Critter Executrix...I hope I never have to be an executrix my husband was and you're right...it's a lot of work and red tape.

I love the snow picture of your Poppa's house...We haven't seen snow like that in a few years and the last time it snowed it only lasted a day or so.

Good luck on your trip...you should have some decent weather.

PT- Oh, if it was only near mountains but it ain't.

I'm talking WESTERN KY...still pretty area with rolling hills...

BUT, I'm not an Eastern Ky blueblood for God's sake (sorry if some of you are)...I'm not quite all there but THAT isn't because my momma married her first cousin...

See ya in a few AP! No snow but clouds and rain...yuck! It's depressing enough going down there...

I still miss and grieve for my Poppa...

I love the mountains too... but when I've been gone from home for awhile, it always takes my breath away as I drive that last 50 or so miles. The rolling hills and farm land is a beautiful site that touchs my heart.

I actually MISS it.

Then I see family and it just ruins the whole damn thing (with the exception of one).
